Natural Gas Reticulator's Authorisation - New South Wales

Description

You will require need authorisation if you intend to operate a distribution pipeline for the purposes of conveying natural gas to other entities in New South Wales. A distribution pipeline means the gas pipes and associated equipment that are used to convey and control the conveyance of natural gas to the premises of customers, but does not include either:

  • certain pipelines that are licensed under a different Act
  • any gas installation
  • any pipe or associated equipment that is wholly situated on land owned by the person who owns or controls the gas pipe or equipment
  • any gas or associated equipment that the regulations declare to not be a part of a distribution pipeline.

Your authorisation may be subject to further conditions.
