This code outlines the requirements for wholesalers of schedule 2, 3, 4 and 8. This code covers:

  • buildings and grounds
  • storage facilities
  • personnel
  • stock handling and stock control
  • transport
  • management of complaints
  • management of records, documentation and standard operating procedures
  • cold chain medicines
  • security arrangements and procedures
  • additional measures for management of controlled drugs (CD) and other goods with high licit value.
